Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility

Founder Background & Educational Impact

Kadir, the founder and owner of Craft for Team is a former science teacher with an academic and professional background rooted in science education, creative thinking, and applied learning. Throughout their career, they have actively participated in European Union–supported and international sustainable development projects focused on education, innovation, and social impact. Within these initiatives, they have designed and delivered hands-on programs for children and educators that integrate robotics, science, and creative problem-solving, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and practical skill development. The same educational and sustainability-driven framework is applied across all Craft for Team activities, ensuring that workshops are not only creative and engaging, but also thoughtfully structured, inclusive, and aligned with long-term environmental and social responsibility principles. The methodologies developed through these international projects directly inform how Craft for Team designs experiences today—combining scientific thinking, creativity, and sustainability into every program.

Our Goal

At Craft for Team, sustainability is a core principle that guides how we design, deliver, and continuously improve our workshops and services. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact while creating meaningful, hands-on creative experiences for individuals, teams, and organizations. Our approach to sustainability focuses on responsible resource use, long-term environmental awareness, and operational decisions that balance creativity with ecological responsibility.

We actively prioritize the use of reusable, durable, and recyclable materials across our workshops whenever possible. Single-use and disposable materials are intentionally minimized, and leftover or unused supplies are carefully stored, repurposed, or recycled to reduce waste. Our studios are designed to support efficient use of space, materials, and energy, and we continuously review our processes to identify opportunities for improvement and waste reduction.

Carbon Footprint Awareness & Operational Practices

Craft for Team recognizes the importance of understanding and reducing the carbon footprint associated with our activities and services. While operating experiential workshops, we take practical steps to monitor and manage environmental impact at an operational level. This includes thoughtful planning of mobile and off-site events, optimizing transportation routes, consolidating deliveries, and using energy-efficient equipment whenever feasible.

For mobile workshops and corporate events, we aim to reduce unnecessary transportation and packaging, encourage efficient scheduling, and prioritize local sourcing where possible. These measures allow us to limit emissions associated with logistics while maintaining a high-quality guest experience. Sustainability is viewed as an ongoing process, and we remain committed to refining our practices as more efficient solutions become available.

Ethical Business Practices & Human Rights Commitment

We are firmly committed to ethical business conduct and respect for human rights throughout all areas of our operations. Craft for Team maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, and any form of modern slavery. We expect the same ethical standards from our partners, vendors, and suppliers, and we work with organizations that align with these values.

Where applicable, Craft for Team complies with relevant international regulations, including the UK Modern Slavery Act, and adheres to anti-human trafficking principles across our supply chain. Our internal policies emphasize transparency, accountability, and fair treatment, ensuring that everyone involved in delivering our services operates in a safe, respectful, and ethical working environment.

Support for Global Sustainability Goals

Craft for Team actively supports and aligns with global sustainability initiatives, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our work directly contributes to goals such as Responsible Consumption and Production, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequalities, and Sustainable Cities and Communities. By promoting mindful material use, ethical labor practices, inclusive creative spaces, and environmentally conscious operations, we aim to make a positive contribution at both a local and global level.

We believe that creativity and sustainability can—and should—coexist. Through our workshops, we foster awareness around thoughtful creation, long-lasting design, and responsible use of resources, encouraging participants to value quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability beyond the workshop experience.

Continuous Improvement & Long-Term Commitment

Sustainability and ethical responsibility at Craft for Team are not static policies but evolving commitments. We regularly assess our operations, supplier relationships, and workshop formats to ensure alignment with best practices and emerging global standards. Our goal is to grow responsibly, scale thoughtfully, and remain accountable to our clients, partners, communities, and the environment.

By embedding sustainability, ethical responsibility, and global awareness into our daily operations, Craft for Team strives to be a trusted partner for organizations seeking meaningful, responsible, and future-focused creative experiences.
